Block Blast is a casual puzzle game developed by Hungry Studio and first released in 2021. The game uses a simple 8x8 board where players drag and place blocks to complete full rows or columns and clear them from the screen. There is no timer, so the main challenge comes from deciding where each piece should go before the board gets too crowded. It is a relaxing block puzzle game, but it still makes you think ahead when the available space starts getting smaller. Block Blast is available as a mobile game on iOS and Android, and its simple controls make it easy to start playing during a short break or stay with it for a longer session.

Gameplay Overview

• You start with an empty grid and three blocks at the bottom.
• Drag a block onto the board and put it wherever it fits.
• Fill a whole row or column and it clears.
• The blocks cannot be rotated, so you have to use them as they are.

• There is no clock running down. You can look at the board and decide before making a move.

• Watch the corners. Big shapes can become a problem when the corners and edges are already full.
• Do not make tiny holes everywhere. A small gap can sit there for ages if none of the next blocks fit.
• Use big pieces early when you can. They are harder to place once the board gets crowded.
• Keep checking the whole board. Do not focus on just one empty spot. A move can look good in one area and cause trouble somewhere else.
• Play for a clean board. A high score usually comes from keeping enough room to keep placing blocks, not from forcing every possible clear.
